2008-09-24 2009 CAWA National Championship Coach Requirements
Please be advised what will ONLY be accepted as of 2009 for Coaching Certification at the National Championships for all ages Cadet, Juvenile, Junior and Senior.
Starting this season 2009
Canadian Cadet/Juvenile Championships (Fredericton, NB) NCCP Competition Intro (Certified) Completed Evaluation and Online Ethics Evaluation No NCCP Level 1 or 2 will be accepted.
Canadian Junior/Senior Championships (Regina, SK) NCCP Level 3 (Certified) Completed all Theory, Practical and Technical OR If ready NCCP Competition Development Trained
NCCP Competition Development is the replacement for NCCP Level 3, but it is still in the process of making the transition. NCCP Level 3 Certified will be allowable until 2013. Currently you can not access NCCP Level 3 Theory, but there is an NCCP Competition Development Equivalent through your Provincial Association that governs Coaching Development in your Province.
